Blue Sky LA is a partnership between two non-profit organizations, Climate Cents and Breathe Southern California, to fund local monthly volunteer projects that will drastically improve the air quality of the Los Angeles region.
The Olympics and Paralympics are coming to the Los Angeles region, Anaheim and Lake Perris in 2028-just 5 short years! An estimated 500 million visitors will be coming from all parts of the world, with one billion people are expected to tune in to watch the games. All eyes will be on Southern California...
Through volunteer projects, BlueSky LA can help make our region go from the one of the most polluted in the country, to one of the cleanest by the 2028 Olympics, and we can fight climate change while we're at it.
By 2028, we have the potential to host 100 environmental projects, engage over 5,000 volunteers, remove over 12,500 lbs. of carbon dioxide, and create over 125,000 lbs. of oxygen!
BlueSky LA projects take place monthly throughout the year, and volunteers of all ages are invited to participate. We hope to see you at our next event!
